The “Institut André Lwoff” is organizing the 3rd European conference on tetraspanins. It will take place in Villejuif (a suburb of Paris) on September 10-11, 2009. It is supported by grants from the Université Paris-Sud, Inserm, and the region Ile de France.
This meeting is the third European meeting dedicated to proteins of the tetraspanin family. The first one was organized by Fedor Berditchevski (Birmingham 2005) and the second one by Francisco Sanchez-Madrid and Maria Yañez-Mó (Madrid 2007). As in the other meetings, we will favour talks by students and postdocs and organize a poster session.
This meeting will cover most aspects of tetraspanin research including their role in cancer, pathogen propagation, immunity, cell migration, cell trafficking, angiogenesis, cell-cell fusion, etc…
the program can be found here.
We look forward to seeing you in Villejuif next September for an exiting conference.
